The app

Rotara works on your Mac. It needs Accessibility permission to manage windows, and it reads window titles and file paths where available to name workspaces. None of that leaves your Mac.

Rotara has no account. It only contacts its own server to check your trial or license, sending:

• your license key, if you have one
• an anonymous ID for your Mac
• the app version

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address, when you joined and which link or form brought you. We use it to tell you when Rotara launches and to give you the waitlist price. We don't sell it or share it for anyone else's marketing.

This website

The site uses privacy-friendly analytics to count visits, with no cookies and no tracking across other sites.

Buying Rotara

Purchases go through a payment provider, which handles your payment details. We never see your full card number.

Where it's kept

Waitlist and license records are stored on Cloudflare's servers.
